Inver Glen Library, 25th Anniversary Celebration

The groundbreaking for Dakota County's Inver Glen Library in Inver Grove Heights took place on November 9, 1998, and opened in 2000. The event culminated three decades of effort by many people to construct the first public library in Inver Grove Heights. To this day, it is the only library in Minnesota history that was the product of a partnership between a county, city, college, and school district.
