Puzzle and Game Swap
At the Saturday, April 11 “Puzzle/Board Game Swap” we had eight intrepid Friends of Inver Glen Library volunteers extraordinaire: Bev; Josephine; Nick; Marna; Carol; Kathy; Anne; & Pam! THANK YOU so much for your help!!! I could not have done this without you and your joy. We had 139 attendees, 8 volunteers, and me, so overall: 148! Many happy people stopped by. Only a few did not bring something to swap, but there were many extra donations for them to choose from.
Thank you to:
-
Bev for just showing up the day of, in case we needed more help. Yes! And for “ferrying.”
-
Josephine for answering my call to come be the official “clicker,” taking attendance numbers.
-
Nick for “ferrying” the puzzles and board games to their appropriate tables and organizing the signs on the tables.
-
Marna for showing up and “ferrying” the puzzles and board games to their appropriate tables.
-
Carol for being the main point of contact for everyone coming in and tallying up the total puzzles and board games received.
-
Kathy for coming early to help set up!
-
Anne for being the official ticket distributor, trading their items for tickets. And for running interference with the folk who lined up ONE HOUR before we started! Bless you.
-
Pam for coming early to help set up (before going to a funeral)!
And thank you to Sue for rounding up these lovely volunteers!
